Rehabilitation & therapy
Class 3B & Class 4 laser therapy
Two laser classifications within a wider set of clinical options, selected for a reason rather than as a routine addition.
One part of an individual plan.
House of Hound brings together both Class 3B and Class 4 laser therapy. These classifications describe equipment; they do not tell an owner which approach is appropriate for an individual dog or promise a particular result.
If laser is proposed, the useful conversation is about its purpose, suitability, handling and how it fits with the wider rehabilitation plan. The clinical team should explain what is involved and how the dog’s comfort and response will be considered.
What shapes the conversation?
- The specific reason laser is being considered.
- Relevant veterinary history and individual suitability.
- How its contribution to the wider plan will be reviewed.
Questions you can bring.
- Why are you suggesting this type of laser?
- What will my dog experience during the appointment?
- How will we decide whether to continue or adapt the plan?
