A closer look.
Class 3B is an equipment classification, not a personalised recommendation. Owners do not need to choose a laser class themselves. Clinical assessment and the wider veterinary picture should inform whether laser is proposed and which approach is considered.
Ask the team to explain the purpose, what an appointment involves and how your dog’s suitability and comfort will be considered. A technology name should never stand in for that conversation or for a clear rehabilitation goal.
Questions to take into a conversation.
- What is the reason for proposing Class 3B laser here?
- What will my dog experience during the appointment?
- How will its role in the plan be reviewed?
A Huxley explanation, in time.
Video footage is forthcoming. This is an image placeholder, not a playable video. The written guide is available now; a real House of Hound YouTube video can be added when supplied.

Download the written guide and its questions as a plain text file to read or print. It is general owner education, rather than an individual home rehabilitation plan.
