Before your visit, bring together your main questions, the information requested by the team and anything you would like us to know about your dog’s previous experiences. It is fine to tell us that an unfamiliar setting is a concern for either of you.

Ask for the centre’s current arrival and preparation information. If your dog already uses a muzzle or other equipment, discuss this in advance so the team understands the context. A muzzle does not replace a conversation about the individual dog’s needs.

Take into your next conversation

  • Write down the questions you most want to discuss.
  • Share relevant veterinary information and practical concerns.
  • Confirm arrival instructions directly with the centre.
