Part of a bigger picture.

The land treadmill is one option within our range of rehabilitation environments. It may be considered alongside walking observations, therapeutic exercise, equipment-based work and assessment in water.

We take account of your dog’s experience, emotional state and the purpose of the session when discussing treadmill work. Familiarisation and the ability to pause are part of considering the dog as an individual.

What we consider

  • A land-based movement environment
  • Considered for rehabilitation or conditioning
  • Attention to familiarity and confidence

What to expect

  • Discuss the reason for using a land treadmill.
  • Consider how your dog responds to the equipment and setting.
  • Review movement observations in relation to your goals.
