A purpose within the plan.

Therapeutic exercise and land-based rehabilitation equipment are part of the options available at House of Hound. We consider them in relation to an individual assessment and the goals that matter for your dog.

If home rehabilitation is included in a plan, understanding the instructions matters. We want owners to feel able to ask about the purpose of an exercise, discuss practical barriers and tell us when something feels difficult for their dog or household.

What comes into the conversation

  • The purpose of each exercise within the individual plan.
  • Your dog’s movement, confidence and willingness to participate.
  • The space, equipment and time available in everyday life.

The shape of a visit

  • Discuss which daily activities you would like the plan to support.
  • Explore the role of land-based exercises and equipment.
  • Ask for clarification about any individual guidance before taking it home.
