A purpose within the plan.

Rehabilitation means looking beyond an appointment or a single piece of equipment. At House of Hound, we consider diagnosis, movement, pain, behaviour, emotional state and the practical realities of your dog’s life.

Assessment helps us decide which treatments, environments and exercises may belong in a plan. Your veterinary team, your observations and your dog’s changing needs all have a place in that conversation. Goals are individual and the plan is open to review.

What comes into the conversation

  • What comfort, movement and participation mean for your dog.
  • How physical and emotional needs influence one another.
  • The support that feels realistic for your household.

The shape of a visit

  • Share the diagnosis, veterinary history and changes you have noticed.
  • Agree what you would like the rehabilitation plan to focus on.
  • Discuss the approach, the next steps and how updates will be shared.
