A purpose within the plan.

Veterinary physiotherapy is part of our multidisciplinary approach to canine rehabilitation. We consider your dog’s history, movement, function and everyday routines alongside the reason they have been referred or brought to us.

A physiotherapy plan may sit alongside water-based work, therapeutic exercise or other treatments available at the centre. The combination is individual, with explanations that help you understand the purpose of each part of your dog’s care.

What comes into the conversation

  • The activities your dog finds easy, difficult or different from before.
  • Their diagnosis and veterinary history in the context of daily life.
  • A plan that takes your home, time and circumstances into account.

The shape of a visit

  • Bring the story of your dog’s movement and any concerns you want to discuss.
  • Take part in a conversation about meaningful, practical goals.
  • Discuss the proposed plan and how progress will be reviewed.
