HOUSE OF HOUND | LEARN WITH HUXLEY Sample owner education · Website concept 03 Huxley explains therapeutic exercise Treatments & technology An exercise is meaningful because of its purpose and suitability for the dog doing it. Therapeutic exercise is considered through assessment and individual goals. An activity that appears similar in two videos may belong to very different clinical plans. A general guide cannot choose exercises or a schedule for your dog. Home guidance should be clear enough to discuss and revisit. Ask for a demonstration of anything agreed, explain the space and support you have available, and make sure you know how to share difficulties or changes with the team. QUESTIONS FOR YOUR NEXT CONVERSATION 1. What is the purpose of this exercise for my dog? 2. Can you help me understand the guidance we have agreed? 3. Who should I contact if the activity is difficult or circumstances change? Discuss your dog’s circumstances with the veterinary and rehabilitation teams. Huxley doesn’t define. Huxley doesn’t diagnose. Huxley doesn’t prescribe. Huxley doesn’t assume. Huxley doesn’t stereotype. He empathises. He empowers. He educates. “See the dog, not just the diagnosis.”
