HOUSE OF HOUND | LEARN WITH HUXLEY Sample owner education · Website concept 03 Huxley explains land-based rehabilitation equipment Treatments & technology Start with the purpose of an activity, then consider whether a particular piece of equipment belongs in it. Rehabilitation equipment can look simple or technical, but appearance does not establish suitability. The useful questions concern the dog’s current abilities, the clinical purpose and how they respond to the task and environment. A piece of equipment seen in a centre or video is not automatically suitable for use at home. Ask the team what, if anything, belongs in your individual plan and what explanation or demonstration you need before using it. QUESTIONS FOR YOUR NEXT CONVERSATION 1. What is this equipment being used to explore or support? 2. Is equipment needed for the work agreed for our home? 3. What should I understand before trying an agreed activity?
