HOUSE OF HOUND | LEARN WITH HUXLEY Sample owner education · Website concept 03 Huxley explains hydrotherapy Treatments & technology Why water might be considered within a wider plan, and why the starting point is still an assessment. Canine hydrotherapy is not a single activity that suits every dog. The pool and underwater treadmill are different environments, and the choice to use either should connect with veterinary information, clinical assessment and the aims of rehabilitation. The dog’s confidence, response to handling and experience around water belong in that decision too. Ask what the team hopes to understand or work towards, and how water-based work relates to ordinary movement at home. QUESTIONS FOR YOUR NEXT CONVERSATION 1. Why might water work belong in our plan? 2. What makes one water environment more suitable than another? 3. How will my dog’s comfort and confidence be considered?
